Anaphyllopsis pinnata and Bognera recondita, two new generic records of Araceae for Colombia

ABSTRACT

A species of each of Anaphyllopsis A.Hay and Bognera Mayo & Nicolson, previously known only from Venezuela and Brazil respectively, are recorded for Colombia for the first time. Anaphyllopsis pinnata A.Hay was found near Río Tiquié, department of Vaupés, and Bognera recondita (Madison) Mayo & Nicolson was found in the district of Taracapá, department of Amazonas. We expand the original descriptions of these two species, and illustrate Anaphyllopsis pinnata based on the new collection.
